Parkview at Columbia
TEI collaborated with the architectural firm, Architecture by Design, to renovate the existing four story, 104 unit senior affordable housing apartment building located in Columbia, Maryland.
The project included an initial building investigation and energy improvement report submitted to Maryland Community Development Administration (CDA) for funding approval.
The renovations included kitchen, bathroom, HVAC, electric, and accessibility upgrades to all of the apartment units including EnergyStar appliance and equipment upgrades throughout. Corridor lighting was also upgraded to EnergyStar rated fixtures.
Building common area upgrades/renovations included the exterior portico and vestibule/lobby, community room/ kitchenette, laundry facility, salon, wellness room, computer/library, billiards/game room, and media room.
